Liverpool got their season back on track following three games without a win by downing Sunderland 3-1 at the Stadium of Light last Sunday.
The biggest talking point from the game was the understanding between strike partnership Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez, who will be looking to continue that line-up play that saw them both grab goals this weekend.
The Reds will go top with victory over the Eagles for at least 24 hours, with Arsenal facing West Brom away in a 4pm kick-off on Sunday afternoon.
The opposition
Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace sit in lowly 19th place in the league table going into matchday seven of the season.
Their only three points have come from beating bottom of the table Sunderland back in August. They have lost all of their other games, and scored just four goals (three of which came against the Black Cats).
Ian Holloway will be hoping for an improved performance from the South London side before the international break, who are 1/6 to be relegated this season.
The last time Liverpool met Crystal Palace at Anfield, the goatee-less Rafa Benitez had just taken over from Gerard Houllier at Anfield and the Reds ran out 3-2 winners thanks to a Milan Baros hat-trick.
It’s 33/1 for for history to repeat itself with a 3-2 Liverpool win this time round.
Team news
Daniel Agger could return to the Liverpool team after sitting out of last Sunday’s win at Sunderland, although the back three of Kolo Toure, Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho barely put a foot wrong.
Definitely out with injuries are Philippe Coutinho, Glen Johnson, Aly Cissokho and Joe Allen whilst Lucas misses this game through suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season last weekend.
That could prompt Brendan Rodgers to move Jordan Henderson in from the right wing to play with Steven Gerrard in the centre of midfield, with Andre Wisdom adopting the right-wing-back role.

Top Betting Tip
Steven Gerrard is stuck on 98 Premier League goals, having yet to score this season. We think that could change against relegation-threatened Palace this weekend, with the Liverpool skipper 3/1 to score anytime and Liverpool to win.
