Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers believes that it is still "a real tough ask" for Manchester City to win the Premier League title.
Liverpool head to Crystal Palace on Monday night looking to maintain the pressure on title favourites City.
Victory at Selhurst Park will take them back to the top of the Premier League table, and hand City another test of their nerve against Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
City beat Everton 3-2 on Saturday, the first of three matches in eight days for them as they try to regain the title.
As it stands City's superior goal difference - nine goals - means victories in their last two games would see them win the title.
But Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says the pressure is all on Manuel Pellegrini's men.
"It is a tough ask for City. No matter how it works, at this stage of the season to play three games that really, really matter is a real, real tough ask," Rodgers said.
"City need to win all their games which means they will have won five games in a row; they have done that just once this season in the league.
"It will be a wee bit new for them as well. It is certainly not over by a long way."
Rodgers is expecting a tough battle against Tony Pulis' men, who have already secured their safety and are sitting comfortably in mid-table after an astonishing revival under the former Stoke manager.
Rodgers is expecting a similar tactical challenge to the one posed by Chelsea just over a week ago, a test Liverpool failed, losing 2-0, handing the title initiative back to City.
"Every team in this league is a very tough game, home or away," the Reds boss said.
"I have been in this division a few seasons now and it is a very tough league.
"They have had some really good results at home. They will defend deep and play in a low block, the back four will be tight with the two wingers dropping in to make a six and the midfield three will be dropped in.
"They will look to break on the counter-attack and to stop us playing so we know it will be a difficult game, but that is our job to find that creativity and stay patient and make the breakthrough.
"Tony Pulis has done an outstanding job. Having come up with a team from the Championship I know first hand how difficult the job is.
"He has really galvanised the team. I watched them recently at Everton and they defended really well and have players on the counter-attack who can punish you.
"They have a real spirit amongst them, and keeping them in the league is a great effort."
