Liverpool will loan out right-back Andre Wisdom for the 2014/15 season, according to the Sunday People.
Wisdom spent most of last season at Championship side Derby County, and many expected him to return to Anfield to challenge for a first-team place.
But the 21-year-old looks set for a season at the Hawthorns, with Neil Moxley of the Sunday People writing:
Baggies moved for Wisdom after failing to lure Scotland international Alan Hutton from Aston Villa.
With Billy Jones joining Sunderland and Steven Reid making a switch to Burnley, West Brom were in dire need of cover on the right flank.
Wisdom looked to have a bright future at Anfield three seasons ago but has since slipped way down the pecking order.
Wisdom has made 22 appearances for Liverpool’s first-team and has often showed much promise for the future.
Meanwhile the Sunday People also report that Brendan Rodgers is on the verge of a six-player, £135 million spending spree after receiving “every penny of the £75million Liverpool bank for Luis Suarez.”
Having already signed Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Emre Can this summer, Benfica’s Lazar Markovic and Lille’s Divock Origi are expected to follow.
