Jose Mourinho: Some positive listening for the Chelsea boss

Jose Mourinho: Some positive listening for the Chelsea boss

TEAMtalk writers offer their predictions for the Premier League season - and there is not much optimism for the Manchester United revolution.

Now we have all the facts to hand, with the transfer window closed and the Premier League squads settled, our writers have given their predictions for the new season - and the 2014-15 title winner is a unanimous choice.

The identity of the top four is far less clear. Mark Holmes, Matt Briggs and Rob McCarthy see little changing among the leading quartet, whereas Ian Watson and presenter Jon Francis have more faith in Manchester United. But do they think Liverpool, Arsenal or Manchester City will make way for Van Gaal's side?

At the other end, there is little hope for Burnley, but our writers are also in agreement over a bleak outlook for one of the Premier League's more established sides.

The identity of the third team to be relegated is less clear. There are concerns for Leicester, Crystal Palace and Sunderland among others, but who will go down?

Listen in for all predictions at the top and bottom of the Premier League and a few more forecasts, including: which manager will win the sack race? Who will be the season's surprise package? Who might we see in the England squad before the end of the season?

As always, have Your Say and use the story comment facility to tell us who's right, who's wrong and who has lost the plot.
