Martin Skrtel's stoppage time header earned the 10 men of Liverpool a point in an entertaining 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

Philippe Coutinho gave Liverpool the lead after a quiet opening, driving in low into the corner from 20 yards, before Debuchy’s far-post header gave Arsenal an unlikely leveller just a minute later deep into first-half stoppage time.

Mathieu Flamini was lucky to escape a red card in the first half after Michael Oliver deemed his flailing arm on Adam Lallana was not worthy of a second booking.

And Arsenal took the lead on 64 minutes, Giroud picking up the ball after a one-two with Santi Cazorla to sweep home from six yards.

Liverpool substitute Fabio Borini was sent off late on for picking up two bookings in the space of four minutes, before the 10 men earned a point with Skrtel's late bullet header from a corner.
