Liverpool Under-21s midfielder Jack Dunn has spoken about his start to life on-loan at Cheltenham Town and the differences between U21 and League Two football.
Dunn joined Cheltenham on an initial month-long loan deal at the start of January, along with fellow Reds Lloyd Jones and Kevin Stewart.
Dunn scored on the debut for the Robins to cancel out an early Oxford United opener, before Stewart scored the winner on the stroke of half-time in a 2-1 victory.
“It got us on level terms and on a bit of a roll,” Dunn said of his goal when speaking to the official Cheltenham Town website. “We started to control the game and it gave everyone a lift. Personally it was a great achievement.
When asked how different playing in League Two was to playing in the Under-21 league, Dunn replied, “I’d say the physicality. In Under-21s you are playing against lads your age. Playing against men is a more physical game, so I’d say that.”
