Mario Balotelli has made his feelings about his disallowed goal in Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa perfectly clear after posting an image of the incident on social media site Instagram.
The Italy International replaced Lazar Markovic at half-time in the FA Cup semi-final with the score locked at 1-1 before Fabian Delph had put Villa in front in the 54th minute at Wembley.
But Balotelli had the ball in the back of the net in the 85th minute for what would have been a late equaliser for Liverpool, only to see his effort incorrectly chalked off for offside.
And the 24-year-old - who was last week named as the most abused player on social media in this country - posted a still image on Instagram, clearly showing him being played onside by Aston Villa defender Leandro Bacuna.
"No words. The picture says it all," read the caption.
"Congratulations to Aston Villa anyway. And Guys HEAD UP We are Liverpool and YNWA especially when we lose."
Balotelli joined Liverpool from AC Milan last summer for a fee in the region of £16m but has struggled for consistency and playing time at Anfield.
The striker has scored just one Premier League goal in 14 appearances and has found the back of the net four times in 25 games in all competitions.
