Philippe Coutinho has been nominated for the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award, whilst both he and Raheem Sterling is in the running for the PFA Young Player of the Year.
Coutinho, 22, is named alongside Chelsea’s Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, Manchester United’s David De Gea, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez on the shortlist.
Coutinho is also amongst those nominated in the young category, alongside Sterling, De Gea, Hazard, Kane and Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Liverpool enjoyed success in the PFA Awards last season when Luis Suarez was awarded the PFA Player of the Year award.
No-one from back-to-back WSL title winners Liverpool Ladies have been nominated.
The awards will be presented on Sunday, April 26th.
