Danny Ings: Currently on duty with England U21s

Danny Ings has labelled his move to Liverpool a dream - but admits he must work hard and "never get complacent" if he's to be a success at Anfield.

The England U21 striker will officially join Liverpool on July 1, subject to a medical, when his Burnley contract expires, although the two clubs are yet to agree a compensation fee.

Burnley rejected the initial offer from Liverpool for the 22-year-old, with a Premier League Compensation Committee likely to become involved, but Ings is thinking only of establishing himself at Anfield.

"Words can’t describe the move that I’ve got for myself," he told Sky Sports News HQ. "At the same time, I’ve worked my way up from the bottom so it’s even more special for me.

"It’s a challenge I’m really looking forward to. I’ll never get complacent with anything like that.

"Now I’ve got that move obviously I’ll work even harder to get into that team and be the best professional I can be."
