In-demand Leeds star Sam Byram insists he's keen to remain with the Whites and help the club push towards promotion next season.
Byram, who can operate at right-back or on the right side of midfield, has been linked with moves to the Premier League in recent weeks, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Sunderland all reportedly keen.
The Black Cats are thought to have had a £5million bid rejected by Leeds last week, but Byram, 21, insists he's only concentrating on helping Leeds gain promotion from the Championship and hopes to do so as a first-team regular.
"As a team, we’ve got to look towards getting promotion,” Byram told the club's official site. "That’s the main focus.
"From a personal point of view, I want to keep trying to improve and play as many games as I can.
"I haven’t met [new boss] Uwe Rosler yet so I’m looking forward to getting back to pre-season and trying to impress him throughout the month."
Byram has made over 100 first-team appearances since making his debut for Leeds under Neil Warnock in August 2012.
