Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has signed a new contract until 2019 to end speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League.
The 24-year-old Frenchman, who had been linked in both the French and British press with a move to both Arsenal and Liverpool this summer, scored 27 Ligue 1 goals last term.
"People can stop talking [about me],” Lacazette said. "Now I hope we will only talk because I am scoring goals and winning games with Lyon.
"I let it be known my wish to stay at the club and to refuse any outside offer.
"The important thing for me was not whether I would extend my contract or not, but to stay at the club. I knew that I was going to stay here."
The France international has eight caps for his country, and has scored 70 goals in 186 appearances for Lyon in total.
Lyon finished second in Ligue 1 last season, and will compete in the group stages of the Champions League this season.
