Lazio have ruled out signing Liverpool striker Fabio Borini, with the Reds struggling to offload the forward before transfer deadline day.
Borini, the first signing made under Brendan Rodgers tenure in the summer of 2012, has failed to make an impact at Liverpool over his three years, with a loan spell at Sunderland his biggest success during the period.
The Italian international finds himself behind Christian Benteke, Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings and Divock Origi in the pecking order at Anfield, and a handful of clubs have been linked to the striker.
Bologna, Inter Milan and Lazio are all targeting the striker according to reports, but the latter appear to have ruled themselves out of the running with transfer deadline day looming.
When asked about the potential of signing Borini and a list of other players, Lazio chief Igli Tare responded: "None of those players will come to Lazio, we will be sending players out.
"In terms of incomings, we'll see if there are some players leaving and then there might be something happening on incomings", he added.
