11.8.2013, Penyokong Liverpool Marah dengan kenyataan kontroversi Cavani yang menyatakan Brendan Rodgers menyeksa Luis Suarez dengan memaksa pemain tersebut untuk beraksi di kelab &039;kerdil&039; Liverpool. Ini kerana Cavani menyifatkan tak wahar Brendan menghalang Suarez ke Arsenal.Ia antara sokongan kepada kenyataan Forlan yang sebelum itu menyatakan pemain sperti Suarez tak sepatutnya beraksi di Liverpool sebaliknya patut bersama dengan kelab lama beliau Man . Utd.

Musim lepas (2012) lagi Suarez patut ke Kelab besar seperti Juve yg kini sedang dalam menuju kejuaraan Liga Italy. Sebaliknya dia terpaksa bersusah layan berjuang di Liverpool. Kesetiaankah itu???

Saya pun dah tahu jika Liverpool gagal ke UCL, Ada syarat perjanjian menyatakan dia akan dilepaskan.

Marcos Rojo is reluctant to speculate on his future as reports continue to link him with a move away from Sporting Lisbon.

Clubs across Europe are said to be tracking the full-back, who shone for Argentina at the World Cup finals in Brazil.

Southampton are rumoured to be leading the Premier League chase, with Liverpool also credited with holding an interest in the attack-minded left-back.

Napoli are also keen, with it possible that Rojo’s next port of call will be Serie A.

The 24-year-old is, however, refusing to be drawn into a debate regarding his next move, with his focus locked on Sporting until told otherwise.

Rojo told O Jogo: “Have I played my last game for Sporting? I don’t know.

“The thing I want to think about the least at the moment is whether I will stay or go."

Phillipe Coutinho: Backed to shine this season

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has backed Philippe Coutinho to help fill the void left by Luis Suarez's departure and take his game to another level.

Coutinho has impressed in pre-season and he was outstanding in Sunday's 4-0 win over Borussia Dortmund with a goal and an assist.

There will be extra responsibility on Coutinho this season, following Suarez's departure to Barcelona, but Rodgers is confident the Brazilian will rise to the occasion.

"He is so gifted as a player,” Rodgers said. “The supporters appreciated him against Dortmund because of the level of the opposition.

"His ability is magical in tight situations. He doesn’t get marked, tempts defenders out and his weight of passes.

"I just think he needs to add sustainability. He needs to do that on the big stage, and he’ll get that opportunity.”

Rodgers believes Coutinho will relish the opportunity of pitting his wits against the best players in the UEFA Champions League this season.

"He will show at that level he’s a top player," added Rodgers. "It’s about sustaining that level of performance and doing that on the big stage.

"I see him over the next few years being on the world level for Liverpool and Brazil."

1.Bahagian serangan Liverpool masih lagi tajam.

Ramai yang mempersoalkan bagaimana Liverpool akan menyesuaikan diri dengan ketiadaan Luis Suarez,kerana seperti mana yang kita ketahui sumbangan Suarez tidaklah sekadar terhad kepada jaringan-jaringan golnya sahaja bahkan juga juga daripada segi &039;assist&039; dan Suarez merupakan pencorak utama permainan menyerang Liverpool.Akan tetapi perlawanan menentang Dortmund ini membuktikan bahawa permergian Suarez tidak menyebabkan barisan serangan Liverpool menjadi tumpul.Empat gol yang dihasilkan oleh empat pemain yang berbeza turut menunjukkan bahawa tugas menjaringkan gol turut digalas oleh keseluruhan pasukan,satu perubahan positif yang cukup baik.



2.Dejan Lovren mungkin salah satu perpindahan terbaik musim panas.

Masih terlalu awal untuk memperkatakannya akan tetapi jika debut Lovren mahu dijadikan ukuran,Liverpool sudah menjumpai kunci bagi memperbaiki kelemahan pertahanan mereka musim lepas.Pujian istimewa harus diberikan kepada Lovren kerana biarpon dia hanya sempat berlatih dalam tempoh masa dua hari bersama rakan-rakan sepasukannya,dia cukup kental di bahagian pertahanan.Dia menunjukkan segala apa yang anda mahukan daripada seorang pertahanan - kuat,mempunyai kepantasan,tangkas di udara,selesa dengan bola di kedua-dua belah kaki dan yang paling penting mempunyai bakat kepimpinan untuk mengatur bahagian pertahanan Liverpool dengan baik (sesuatu yang dirindui sejak persaraan Jamie Carragher),Golnya juga merupakan pelengkap bagi persembahan mantap Lovren dalam penampilan pertamanya.



3.Perpindahan Suarez bakal membuka peluang untuk Coutinho menyinar.

Seorang lagi pemain yang cukup menyerlah dalam perlawanan ini adalah Philippe &039;little magician&039; Coutinho.Pemain berusia 22 tahun ini beraksi dengan pelbagai corak hantaran,gelecekkan dan juga &039;flick&039; cantik untuk mencipta peluang gol pertama Liverpool,dan dia juga turut berjaya menjaringkan gol cantik daripada sudut yang sukar.Bagaimana Coutinho tidak terpilih dalam pasukan Brazil untuk piala dunia yang lepas memang menghairankan,dan musim ini merupakan platform terbaik bagi Coutinho untuk menyinar dan merangka corak serangan Liverpool yang sebelum ini kebiasaannya diharapkan kepada seorang lagi pemain dari Amerika Latin.



4.Daniel Sturridge selesa menggalas bebanan sebagai penyerang utama.

Walaupon kita masih berharap agar Brendan Rodgers dapat membawa masuk sekurang-kurangnya seorang lagi penyerang ke dalam pasukan Liverpool,tapi prestasi semasa Sturridge menunjukkan dia bersedia menjadi penyerang utama Liverpool.Sturridge menunjukkan ketenangan untuk membuka jaringan buat pasukan Liverpool dan dia turut mencipta bantuan jaringan buat Jordan Henderson.Mudah untuk kita terlupa betapa bagusnya Sturridge pada permulaan liga musim lepas ketika Liverpool tidak dapat menggunakan khidmat Suarez.Sturridge menunjukkan tahap konsintesi yang bagus dengan berjaya menjaringkan enam gol dalam enam perlawanan pertama bagi musim 2013/2014.Kejayaan Liverpool musim ini mungkin bergantung kepada Sturridge lebih daripada pemain yang lain.



5.Skuad Liverpool kelihatan bersedia untuk menghadapi kempen baru BPL musim 2014/2015.

Kemenangan 4-0 ini merupakan suntikan moral yang sempurna bagi pembukaan BPL menentang Southampton minggu hadapan.Kesebelasan yang Brendan Rodgers turunkan semalam mungkin merupakan kesebelasan utama yang akan diturunkan bagi menentang Southampton.Kekentalan bahagian pertahanan dan keserasian bahagian serangan serta persembahan baik secara keseluruhannya akan memberikan keyakinan buat para penyokong dan para pemain sendiri untuk menghadapi kempen bola sepak musim 2014/15.Tidak banyak kelemahan yang boleh diperkatakan - tapi kita mungkin memerlukan sekurang-kurangnya seorang pertahanan kiri dan seorang lagi penyerang yang baharu sebagai pelengkap pasukan ini.



*Admin sedar bahawa ini sekadar perlawanan persahabatan sahaja dan Dortmund juga sebenarnya menurunkan pasukan yang boleh dikatakan lemah,dengan hanya beberapa orang sahaja pemain daripada pasukan utama mereka terlibat.Akan tetapi kemenangan tetap kemenangan,dan kredit perlu diberikan pada tempat sepatutnya iaitu permainan terbaik Liverpool secara keseluruhannya dan seperti apa yang admin nyatakan di atas,kemenangan ini merupakan suntikan moral yang bagus bagi menghadapi musim 2014/15.

Transfer news: Liverpool report no approaches for Daniel Agger

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says the club have fielded no enquiries for defender Daniel Agger.

The Danish centre-half has been linked with an exit an Anfield for a number of years now, with each passing transfer window bringing a fresh round of speculation.

This summer has been no different, with Barcelona still said to be considering an approach despite wrapping up a deal for Thomas Vermaelen.

Arsenal, having offloaded Vermaelen to the Nou Camp, are said to view Agger as a possible replacement at the Emirates, while their north London neighbours Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with holding an interest.

Liverpool, though, maintain that there is nothing to report, with Agger still very much a part of their plans as he works his way back to full fitness.

Rodgers said: “I’ve seen some stories on that but, no, we haven’t had any enquiries.

“Dan’s still getting some work done on his knee, he’s been a bit unfortunate since America. He’s still getting treatment but we haven’t had anything, no offers.”

Rodgers’ focus at present is locked on recruitment, rather than sales, with it possible that there will be further arrivals on Merseyside before September 1.

The Reds boss is delighted with the business he has been able to carry out so far, but is also aware of the need to add depth to his ranks as Liverpool prepare to combine domestic and European duties in 2014/15.

He added after an impressive 4-0 pre-season friendly victory over Borussia Dortmund on Sunday: “I have been really pleased with all of the signings because they have all come in as part of our strategy and the types of profile of players that we want.

“One of the pleasing things for me today was that I could make changes in the game and bring players on and still feel that we were strong.

“That hasn’t been the case since I have been here just because of the lack of depth. But today we could make changes and keep that desire and commitment within the team and the quality, very importantly.

“There are maybe one or two more to come, but come the end of August I think we will hopefully have depth in our squad and be ready to challenge.”

“Dejan Lovren was perfect” — Brendan Rodgers hails Liverpool’s new £20m defender

Brendan Rodgers was delighted with his side’s performance in beating Borussia Dortmund 4-0 at Anfield on Sunday, and singled out new signing Dejan Lovren as having the “perfect” game.

Liverpool rounded off their summer of pre-season preparations in style with goals from Daniel Sturridge, Lovren, Philippe Coutinho and Jordan Henderson leading them to victory at a soggy Anfield.

Whilst the biggest applause of the afternoon was saved for a standing ovation of Philippe Coutinho after another sensational performance by the Brazilian, Rodgers was delighted by Croatian intentional Lovren and the clean sheet.

“I’ve been really pleased with all of the signings because they have all come in as part of our strategy and the types of profile of players that we want,” the Northern Irishman told press after the game.

“Of the two boys that played today, Dejan was perfect – he’s what we’ve been looking for since Jamie Carragher left. He’s a very dominant centre-half.

“He’ll go and attack the ball, reads the game incredibly well and you can see his leadership qualities with his talking and guidance of the back four.

“You also saw his range of pass on both sides, left foot and right foot. His pass into [Philippe] Coutinho for the first goal was wrapped in with his left foot and that creates the nick around the corner to get us the goal.

“Like he showed us last year, he is dominant in the air in the other box, attacking it. I thought he was excellent.”

Rodgers handed Anfield debuts to Lovren, Emre Can and new loan signing Javier Manquillo, whilst Rickie Lambert’s boyhood dream came true in the second-half when he came on to finish the game in front of the Kop.

“Manquillo was outstanding,” Rodgers added. “Just 20 and playing his first game at Anfield having only joined this week. His fitness level was very good.

“He’s the type of full-back I like – he can get tight to people, stop crosses and defend well, but also then has the energy to attack and get forward. He was very, very good.”

Rodgers also told BT Sport that he still expected some more work to be done in the transfer window before the end of August, but refused to be drawn into speculation that a deal for Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno is close.

Liverpool now have a week until the Premier League gets underway with the visit of Southampton to Anfield on Sunday, 17th August.

Liverpool 4-0 Borussia Dortmund: Player Ratings

Liverpool produced a brilliant display to dispatch of Borussia Dortmund at Anfield on Sunday, and Henry Jackson rates each Reds star on the day.

SIMON MIGNOLET- 6 (out of 10)

The Belgian was completely untroubled throughout against a Dortmund side lacking no threat whatsoever going forward.

JAVIER MANQUILLO- 7

The 20-year-old enjoyed an impressive debut, looking good defensively and assured going forward. The real test will come when he makes his Premier League bow, however.

MARTIN SKRTEL- 7

Some had expected Mamadou Sakho to be Dejan Lovren’s partner at the back this season, but Skrtel produced another reliable display to cement his place in the Reds’ starting XI ahead of the clash with Southampton next weekend.

DEJAN LOVREN- 8

Lovren enjoyed a debut to remember, bringing a presence to the defence, displaying his excellence on the ball and scoring Liverpool’s second with a fine header from close-range.

GLEN JOHNSON- 6

The much-maligned 29-year-old produced a better performance than he has of late, looking happier at left-back than on the opposite flank.

He was good in possession, and looked a little more switched on than usual. Maybe the signing of Javier Manquillo has kicked him into gear.

STEVEN GERRARD- 7

The captain has had a fairly low-key pre-season, but he completely controlled the game against the German giants.

His passing was invariably spot on, while his defensive work was also very good.

EMRE CAN- 6

After some excellent displays in a Reds shirt so far, Can was quiet but solid against Jurgen Klopp’s side. Replaced by Lucas at the break.

JORDAN HENDERSON- 8

Henderson was fairly subdued in the first-half, compared to his recent high standards, but he was superb after the break.

The 24-year-old scored the Reds’ fourth goal from close-range, and showed some lovely touches and endless running throughout.

PHILIPPE COUTINHO- 9

Coutinho’s performance was absolutely sensational, and was as close to 10/10 as it gets. His vision was a joy to watch- his flick to set up Sturridge for the opener was particularly sublime- and he got a deserved goal in the second-half.

The 22-year-old will be Liverpool’s star man in 2014/15 on this evidence.

RAHEEM STERLING- 8

Although not as devastating as Coutinho, Sterling’s pace, trickery and inventiveness was extremely sharp from start to finish.

The 19-year-old set up his Brazilian teammate for Liverpool’s third, and their interplay with one another was absolutely fantastic.

DANIEL STURRIDGE- 7

The 24-year-old didn’t look at total sharpness, but he was still a constant threat.

He raced on to Coutinho’s pass to give his side the lead, finishing emphatically in the process, and showed great endeavour to supply Henderson with the Reds’ fourth.

Substitutes

LUCAS LEIVA (on for Can 46)- 6

A reliable cameo from the 27-year-old, although he was a little sloppy in possession.

JOSE ENRIQUE (on for Johnson 62)- 6

Showed some nice touches and attacking thrust, but the game was over as a contest by the time the Spaniard came on.

JORDAN IBE (on for Coutinho 71)- n/a

No time to make an impact.

RICKIE LAMBERT (on for Sturridge 74)- n/a

No time to make an impact.

JOE ALLEN (on for Henderson 78)- n/a

No time to make an impact.

MARTIN KELLY (on for Manquillo 84)- n/a

No time to make an impact.
