The 2015 TEAMtalk Soccers awards are coming soon - and we're asking you, our readers, to decide on your winners.

The sun came down on another glorious season on Saturday, with Barcelona toppling Juventus 3-1 to win the Champions League and complete a second Treble in six seasons.

There was also plenty of thrills and spills domestically too, with Chelsea and Arsenal between them ensuring that all three major domestic trophies headed to the capital. Man United, meanwhile, bounced back from last season's disappointments to claim fourth place and a possible return to the Champions League.

Eden Hazard confirmed Chelsea's dominance by winning the player of the year awards, but can he make it a clean sweep by claiming glory in the TEAMtalk Soccers too?

These are the awards chosen by you, so have a look at our 10 categories and let us know your winners, and runners-up in each. We've also introduced two new categories this year in European Player of the Year and the World XI of the Season.

Winners of each category will be announced on site each day from Monday June 15 until Friday June 26, so you have just under a week to choose your winners. We

Nabil Bentaleb: Tottenham midfielder a target for Liverpool

Nabil Bentaleb: Tottenham midfielder a target for Liverpool

Liverpool move for Nabil Bentaleb as Tottenham eye young Marseille striker Anthony Martial and Swansea join the Loic Remy race, say the papers.

LIVERPOOL TARGET BENTALEB

Liverpool have opened talks over signing Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb for £10million, according to The Sun.

Spurs do not want to lose the Algerian, 20, but Brendan Rodgers is apparently 'desperate' for him to form a new-look midfield partnership with James Milner. The Reds boss has been cleared to spend after surviving a review which led to the departures of coaches Colin Pascoe Mike Marsh.

Bentaleb admitted last week he was frustrated by his lengthy contract talks at White Hart Lane.

"I give everything on the pitch. I've been working really hard and it's normal for me to want to get rewarded. We've been negotiating for nearly nine months now, since September, and it's getting really long and, of course, I'm getting a little bit tired of it.

"Sometimes it is annoying when you don't feel treated as you should be. This season was a really good season for me and I've had some interest from big clubs, from Champions League clubs. I'm really flattered."

SPURS IN TALKS OVER MONACO TEEN

Tottenham, meanwhile, are in negotiations over the potential signing of 19-year-old Marseille striker Anthony Martial, according to The Telegraph.

The French club are said to want 25million euros to sell a player they bought from Lyon two years ago, but the teenager's impressive performances in the Champions League this season have attracted the interest of Mauricio Pochettino, who will place on emphasis on youth during his rebuilding of his squad at White Hart Lane.

Harry Kane, Ryan Mason and the aforementioned Bentaleb are the three players the Spurs boss apparently wants to build around, while buyers will be sought for Emmanuel Adebayor and possibly Roberto Soldado, who are both in the final year of their contracts.

SWANSEA JOIN REMY CHASE

Swansea have joined Crystal Palace and Southampton in expressing an interest in signing Chelsea striker Loic Remy, according to the Daily Mirror.

Remy started only six Premier League games during his first season at Stamford Bridge and would like to play more - and the 28-year-old's £80,000-a-week has apparently not deterred his suitors.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has ruled out allowing any first-team players to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, but Monaco striker Radamel Falcao is just one of five forwards on his shortlist, according to the Daily Mail.

AND THE REST

- Southampton are lining up a move for Espanyol defender Hector Moreno in case they lose Toby Alderweireld, who is a target for Tottenham and Chelsea (Daily Mirror)

- West Ham are closing on the signing of Marseille striker Andre Ayew (Daily Mail)

- Swansea are set to pay around £1m to sign Matt Stevens, a 17-year-old striker who scored more than 50 goals for Barnet's Under-18 side last season (The Sun)

- Leicester City are leading the race to sign Wolves forward Bakary Sako, who is also being looked at by Aston Villa and West Brom (The Sun)

- West Brom are close to sealing a £3.4m deal for Real Madrid attacking midfielder Cristian Benavente (The Times)

- Sampdoria will have to splash out over £30m if they want to prise Enner Valencia away from West Ham (Daily Mirror)

- QPR have warned Newcastle they will have to find £15m to sign striker Charlie Austin (Daily Mirror)

Philippe Coutinho scores his first Brazil goal

Philippe Coutinho scores his first Brazil goal

Philippe Coutinho opened his account in style with his first international goal as Brazil beat Mexico 2-0 in a pre-Copa America encounter in Sao Paulo.

Coutinho scored just before the half-hour mark finishing past Corona from the tightest of angles. The Liverpool man strolled past a defender and was Brazil's star player. Diego Tardelli tapped in the second just eight minutes later.

Dunga will be happy with the way that his side managed to put goals on the board with Neymar missing. The Barcelona man scored eight goals in as many games for his country prior to this fixture.

Mexico have one eye on the Copa America and another on the Gold Cup immediately afterwards, which has always been viewed as a priority.

Miguel Herrera named an experimental line-up and they look every bit the B team that many people foresaw when Herrera named his squad for the Chile tournament.

Coutinho was the star performer for Brazil but both sides still struggled to maintain possession and string together consistent attacks, but Dunga's side did enough.

Brazil really shouldn't expect things to be this easy in the Copa America this summer but they continued their superb form since their World Cup exit to Germany. Their  winning run extended to nine straight games, including triumphs against heavyweights like France, Chile, Argentina and Colombia.

Jordan Henderson feels the fans’ criticism will make Liverpool and England team-mate Raheem Sterling ‘a stronger person’.

Sterling was booed during Sunday’s goalless friendly between England and Ireland in Dublin, with some sections of the travelling support making their feelings on the player known.

The winger has upset Liverpool fans by the nature of his dispute with the club over a new contract; his representative Aidy Ward is alleged to have told the Evening Standard that he would not agree to stay at Anfield even if he was offered £900,000 per week, while the club have called off scheduled talks.

Sterling was also booed when he collected Liverpool’s young player of the year award last month but Henderson feels the abuse will improve his club-mate’s mental strength.

"He is so strong-minded, and it will make him a stronger person and make him better," said Henderson, who won his 21st England cap at the Aviva Stadium.

"He will concentrate on doing his best for the team. He did that on Sunday, trying to create things and get on the ball all the time. Hopefully he can do the same next week.

"He deals with it (the abuse) very well. I don't think he lets that bother him at all."

Roy Hodgson: Yawns during England's friendly in Dublin

Roy Hodgson: Yawns during England's friendly in Dublin

England manager Roy Hodgson is concerned that Raheem Sterling is not currently tough enough to deal with the abuse he gets from the sidelines.

The Liverpool fans in the home end of the Aviva Stadium in Dublin made their feelings about Sterling known on Sunday during England's dull 0-0 draw against the Republic of Ireland.

The 20-year-old, who is in the middle of a prolonged contract dispute with Liverpool, was booed every time he touched the ball and was substituted in the 65th minute following a poor display.

Hodgson has no doubts about Sterling's ability on the pitch, but the England manager is concerned the forward is not capable of handling the stick that comes his way from the terraces.

"I think he's going through a bad time publicly," Hodgson said.

"You can't expect people just to shrug off the criticism he has been receiving.

"He does ever so well and tries well to shrug it off, let his football do the talking. He needed this game to realise that, if he is going to get it out of his system, he's going to have work harder still and get a thicker skin than he has at the moment."

Sterling shot wide from inside the box in the second half and offered little to England's attack throughout the game.

It does not sound like Hodgson is considering dropping him for Sunday's Euro 2016 qualifier in Slovenia.

"I have no reservations (about Sterling). I trust him," Hodgson said. "But players are not robots. He's done some fantastic things for us, but today he didn't hit those heights.

"It'll take a lot before I and the English national team sway from Raheem Sterling.

"We only took him off today was to give others the game, to air the squad."

Liverpool cancelled contract talks with Sterling during the final week of the season after his representative Aidy Ward allegedly told the London Evening Standard his client would not sign a new contract with the club even if they offered him £900,000 a week.

Jordan Henderson has backed his Liverpool team-mate to ride out the storm and emerge a better player.

"He is so strong-minded, and it will make him a stronger person and make him better," said the midfielder, who won his 21st England cap in Dublin on Sunday.

"He will concentrate on doing his best for the team. He did that today, trying to create things and get on the ball all the time. Hopefully he can do the same next week.
