KENAPA KITA JADI BEGINI ?

Kita sebenarnya kehilangan style of play atau build up yang kita milki musim lepas.

Kenapa ?

Kerana mereka masa itu cuma kehilangan Ronaldo tapi style of play dan keserasian pasukan mereka kekalkan kerana mereka tidak membeli player terlalu ramai dan directly bermain first eleven.

Totenham Hotspur pernah kehilangan Bale namun gagal mengekalkan walau 70% intenstity mereka . Kenapa?

Ingat tak artikel lama saya mengatakan , Spurs never Learn from Liverpool untuk mengatasi kehilangan Bale. Direct Start !

Arsenal ketika kehilangan key Player , NAsri, Henry , RvP ,Fabregas , Adebayor tidak begitu terkesan kerana Wenger tidak menngemari auto start kecuali macam kes Debuchy yang terang terang memang tidak ada option lain selepas kehilangan Sagna. Mereka sentiasa berjaya seal the UCL spot.

Cuma Liverpool agak terkesan dengan injury dan out of form player.

Sturridge - injured

Coutinho - out of form

Flanagan - injured.

Memaksa Manquillo terus auto start.

BACK 4!

Kesannya, kita kehilangan the no.10 Sterling .

Tapi segalanya punah kerana kecederaan dan out of form player. Tapi LET&039;S support Rodgers , he have a very tough time to manage the team that full of injury dan out of form playmaker . Once Coutinho find back his form and DS back in the team , Jose fit sepenuhnya ,kita akan menjadi better team.

SEKIAN !

We round up the back pages following Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.

Whatever way you look at it, Liverpool should not have been hanging onto a 1-0 lead when Phil Jagielka provided a bolt from the blue to ensure a dramatic equaliser for Everton at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

Steven Gerrard‘s 65th minute free-kick was late in coming, but crucially Liverpool had the first goal, forcing Everton to attack and take more risks at the back.

There were chances and ample time for Liverpool to put the game way beyond their local rivals but when Jagielka fired home in front of the Kop in injury time, Anfield fell silent.

It was, as Paul Wilson of The Guardian describes, a hugely frustrating and ultimately disappointing kick in the teeth for Brendan Rodgers‘ side. He writes of Jagielka’s late equaliser:

That was a twist in the tail a plodding script hardly merited. Liverpool were deserving of a win on the basis that Everton had hardly produced an attack of note, yet they switched off a few seconds too early in assuming Jagielka would recycle Dejan Lovren’s clearing header by conventional means.

Shortly after Gerrard had opened the scoring, Mario Balotelli had a glorious opportunity to kill the game off, getting onto the end of a Raheem Sterling cross only the inexplicably fire over via the crossbar when it looked easier to score.

That would have killed the game off, but Liverpool’s lack of ammunition in front of goal was what was punished by the Toffees late on — a criticism of Balotelli Ian Herbert of the Independent is more than happy to make:

More hot air than hot finishing. The video footage which surfaced this week of Mario Balotelli singing Liverpool chants with a mouthful of helium somehow epitomised what he tends to bring to a club.

[…]

Balotelli will never be conventional of course. The unpredictability is part of the attraction. But Liverpool’s aims are high. They will need materially more from him than flashes of promise. The disappointment washing up the Anfield Road last night carried a sharp reminder of that.

As some had predicted prior to the game though, the form book was well and truly thrown out of the window by Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, who put the dreariness of last Saturday’s defeat at West Ham behind him and recaptured the imagination that comes with derby games.

It was a stirling performance from the 34-year-old as he cupped his ears upon scoring as if to defy his critics.

Henry Winter of The Telegraph picked up on Gerrard’s sizeable contribution to the Reds’ cause:

Henderson may mature into Liverpool’s captain one day but Gerrard’s leadership is vital now. He was demanding the right standards, shouting at Manquillo when the right-back was out of position. It is Gerrard’s reading of the game that Rodgers also admires. He covered at centre-back when Martin Skrtel pushed up. He anticipated Lukaku’s pass towards Naismith, nipping in, nicking the ball and releasing Lallana first time. He picked off a Stones’ pass to McGeady, and dispossessed Besic, Lukaku and Naismith.

And he took his goal well. Some finish. Gerrard himself is far from finished.

All in all, it was another two points squandered as Liverpool reached the sixth game of the league campaign still with only two wins to their name, three defeats and this one draw.

Concern is rightfully high amongst both Merseyside clubs at the moment, but Liverpool will certainly be welcoming the imminent return of Daniel Sturridge from injury.

What was your assessment of Liverpool’s derby draw with Everton? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Balotelli criticism, Gerrard redemption — How the newspapers reacted to Liverpool 1-1 Everton

Brendan Rodgers: Keen to protect Raheem Sterling from suffering fatigue

Brendan Rodgers: Keen to protect Raheem Sterling from suffering fatigue

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers admits he is cautious of youngster Raheem Sterling being burnt out ahead of another international break with England.

Sterling, who is reportedly set for a bumper new deal at Anfield following talk of interest from Real Madrid, has established himself as an integral figure for both club and country.

The 19-year-old has already played eight times, including all three World Cup games, for England in 2014 after making 38 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool last season.

Rodgers opted to use Sterling off the bench in the recent 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa and is knows that the Reds’ brightest prospect could suffer from fatigue if overplayed.

"We certainly have to be aware of it," Rodgers said. "It’s easy just to turn around and say ‘he is 19 and can play every day of the week’. But it doesn’t work like that.

"There will be periods when they need to rest. And, of course, when you give them the rest because you are planning ahead, you get accused of picking the wrong team.

"He is a big talent. The key is to try and nurture it, while also understanding the best players want to play in the games. And he will certainly have enough games this season."

Rodgers voiced his disapproval of England's treatment after striker Daniel Sturridge returned from the last international break injured, but insists he will not be making any specific demands for Sterling.

"I think Roy and his staff would have to look at that. He’ll want to ensure the games are won but I’m sure resting players will be the objective, especially when you’re winning the game comfortably," he said.

"We lost Emre Can when they (Germany Under-21s) were 6-0 up on a pitch which was awful. But I’m not here to tell the England staff how to do their job."

Sterling already has three Premier League goals to his name this season after often being played in a central role, and Rodgers is full of praise despite the added attention he is now getting from defenders.

"Raheem sometimes has two or three men around him. Is it affecting his performance? Not really," he said.

"He has been brilliant so far and he’ll hopefully continue to keep that consistency in his game. We just have to release the pressure from him.

"He lets his football do the talking on the field and at this moment in time he is playing very well."

Post Match Analysis And Verdicts.

LIVEVE (1-1)

Jagielka Injury Time Goal snatched a point from Anfield.

Permulaan.

1. Liverpool Press Early !

Start dari kick off liverpool terus menyerang dan menmberikan tekanan. Mereka cuba menggunakan flank area sekerap mungkin kerana menyedari Everton bermain narrowed back 4 seperti perlawanan perlawanan lepas.

Corner Gerrad menemui Lallana yang melakukan good header tapi deiselamtkan Howard.

2. Liverpool Wing Play.(Attack From Left Wing)

LUCKY BLUE ??

3. Everton lack of Option di final third.

Sistem false 9 everton seakan akan kurang menjadi, Dengan Naismith gagal meloloskan diri kedalam final third dengan kerap. Cuma sekali Naismith berjaya masuk kedalam tetapi Lovren cepat melakukan clearance.

4. Gerrard outplayed Everton False 9 dan Everton Lack of Support

Inilah risiko utama.

Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho was pictured leaving Anfield before the Merseyside Derby, with the Frenchman releasing a grovelling apology post-match.

In the build-up to Saturday’s 1-1 Merseyside Derby draw at home to rivals Everton, Liverpool centre-back Mamadou Sakho drew criticism after having been pictured leaving Anfield before kick-off.

Presumably a reaction to being dropped in favour of starting defenders Dejan Lovren and Martin Skrtel, the 24-year-old reportedly left the stadium in full club suit, whilst his teammates continued their preparations.

Veteran centre-back Kolo Toure took Sakho’s place on the substitutes’ bench.

Liverpool went on to dominate the majority of proceedings, with Everton counterpart Phil Jagielka compounding Sakho’s misery with a late, long-range equaliser.

Clearly acknowledging his wrongdoing, Sakho issued an apology via his Twitter account after the game.

The Frenchman apologised “to the club, the supporters and every person who felt offended,” claiming he preferred to watch the game alone—a “bad choice.”

Whilst this should draw a line under Sakho’s mistake, this highlights an alarming treatment of the centre-back by Reds manager Brendan Rodgers since an £18 million move from PSG last summer.

Having left the French champions for Merseyside in search of regular game time, Sakho has continually found himself marginalised under Rodgers.

Sakho is widely regarded as Liverpool’s most talented centre-back, with a dominant, front-footed style perfectly complementing Rodgers’ style of play.

However, the Frenchman has made just 21 league appearances for Liverpool since his move—far from a regular run for the young defender.

Being dropped in favour of old hand Toure will have been a kick in the teeth; alarm bells ring on Merseyside.

Phil Jagielka’s late strike denied Liverpool victory in an enthralling Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday. Henry Jackson assesses how each Reds player performed on the day.

Football - FA Premier League - Liverpool FC v Everton FC

Liverpool 1-1 Everton (Premier League) – Match Report

SIMON MIGNOLET (out of 10)- 6

The 26-year-old was largely untested all afternoon and had no chance of saving Jagielka’s stunning strike.

JAVIER MANQUILLO- 6.5

The young Spaniard got forward well a number of times, and was largely solid defensively against the dangerous Aiden McGeady. His final ball was inconsistent though.

MARTIN SKRTEL- 7

The Slovakian enjoyed a good display, and despite being far from perfect at times, he does seem to make Liverpool’s defence slightly more solid.

DEJAN LOVREN- 7

One of Lovren’s better games for the Reds in his short career to date. The 25-year-old didn’t put a foot wrong, and was dominant in the air throughout.

ALBERTO MORENO- 6.5

The 22-year-old showed plenty of attacking threat down the left, and put in a number of teasing crosses. Defensively he does look inconsistent, however, and is guilty of committing himself too early.

STEVEN GERRARD- 7

LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND - Friday, September 26, 2014: Liverpool's captain Steven Gerrard celebrates scoring the first goal against Everton during the Premier League match at Anfield. (Pic by David Rawcliffe/Propaganda)

The skipper’s form has been under the spotlight of late, but after a subdued first-half he curled home a sublime free-kick to give the Reds the lead. His used the ball well all afternoon, but his lack of pace in midfield remains an issue when faced with a one-on-one situation.

JORDAN HENDERSON- 8

The 24-year-old was absolutely terrific from start to finish, bossing the midfield and getting through an admirable amount of work. He is arguably the first name on the team-sheet these days, and was Liverpool’s best player against their local rivals.

ADAM LALLANA- 7.5

Lallana was Liverpool’s most lively attacking player for much of the game, running with the ball and proving to be a constant threat to the Everton defence. His current form, as he gets back to full fitness, is very promising. Worked incredibly hard too.

LAZAR MARKOVIC- 5

The 20-year-old struggled to adjust to the pace and ferocity of the game, and didn’t really do anything of note in attack all afternoon.

RAHEEM STERLING- 6.5

Not the 19-year-old’s finest performance, but he was still always one of the most dangerous players on the pitch. His final ball let him down on a number of occasions, and his general use of the ball was a little sloppy.

MARIO BALOTELLI- 7

LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND - Friday, September 26, 2014: Liverpool's Mario Balotelli in action against Everton during the Premier League match at Anfield. (Pic by David Rawcliffe/Propaganda)

Despite several occasions when he was a little greedy in possession, and his theatrical baheviour, Balotelli had a good game. The 24-year-old held the ball up well and showed some nice touches. His movement could improve though.

Substitutes

PHILIPPE COUTINHO (on for Markovic 60) 7

The Brazilian gave his side more attacking threat when he came on, showing some typically silky touches and inventive play. Still not at his best.

RICKIE LAMBERT (on for Balotelli 88)- n/a

No time to make an impression.
