Paul Merson has predicted wins for Man City, Liverpool, Southampton, Swansea, Everton, Chelsea and QPR in the Premier League this weekend.
West Ham v Manchester City, 12.45pm
West Ham is a tough place to go these days. Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia play with a lot of pace and can't stop scoring goals, and Stewart Downing is playing in a really good position.
However, Man City have to win to put some pressure on Chelsea, and I think it will prove a hard game for both sides with not a lot in it. Ultimately I think Sergio Aguero will be the difference and for that reason I am going for a narrow Man City win.
PAUL PREDICTS: 1-2
Liverpool v Hull
I thought Liverpool were poor against QPR, and against Real Madrid they were well out of their depth. Hull had a good result at Arsenal and coped with being put under pressure, but I expect Liverpool to be too good for them on Saturday.
I definitely don't expect Mario Balotelli to start this game after his recent performances and also what happened with swapping his shirt at half-time on Wednesday night.
I expect Brendan Rodgers to play Rickie Lambert - and if Rodgers only plays one up front, then Hull need to abandon their approach of playing three at the back. Either way, I'd be shocked if Balotelli plays.
PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0
Southampton v Stoke
Confidence will be high for Southampton after winning 8-0, but they can't get complacent because any game against Stoke is always a hard game.
However, with the way they are playing, I do expect Southampton to have a little bit too much for them. Everything about Southampton is just right at the moment - although I don't often go against Stoke.
PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0
Sunderland v Arsenal
Sunderland may have lost 8-0 to Southampton, but they are not a bad team. I could see Burnley losing a game heavily later in the season if they were struggling for squad depth, but I would never have expected it with Sunderland.
They scored a bad own goal straight away and there was nothing in the game after the second goal. They were denied a stonewall penalty to make it 2-1 and it could have been a different game.
It became a bit of a joke in the second half and it wasn't good to watch, but for the first 30 minutes there wasn't a lot in it. Arsenal are not playing well at all and this is a hard game for them, so I'm going for a draw.
PAUL PREDICTS: 1-1
West Brom v Crystal Palace
I'm doing this game on Soccer Saturday and I think it will be a good one because Palace will have a go and West Brom are playing good football at the moment.
They are both really good to watch, as we saw last week when Palace caused Chelsea problems early on with their pace and West Brom got a draw with Man United.
There's not a lot between these two teams and at the end of the season I'd be surprised if there's more than three points between them. I'm going to sit on the fence and say a 1-1 draw, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was 2-2.
PAUL PREDICTS: 1-1
Swansea v Leicester, 5.30pm, Sky Sports 1
I think this will be an easy win for Swansea. Leicester got beat at Newcastle last week and were very naïve, and they should have won the game before that when they drew with Burnley.
Leicester are getting into a little bit of a sticky patch after that win over Man United. Teams have paid a lot more attention to them since then and have looked more closely at certain players. Even though that was a great result, maybe it worked against them.
I thought Swansea were unlucky against Stoke when they went 1-0 up and suffered from a dubious penalty. I expect them to bounce back and win this easily.
PAUL PREDICTS: 3-0
Burnley v Everton, Sunday 1.30pm, Sky Sports 1
I think Burnley are out of their depth in this league, even with Danny Ings fit again and even when Sam Vokes comes back.
Everton had a big result against Villa last week and you'd like to think they can go on a run now. They will look at Burnley as a chance to get a win and start rolling.
I don't see how Burnley can cope with Everton and I think it will be quite an easy win, especially with Ross Barkley fit and playing again.
PAUL PREDICTS: 0-3
Manchester United v Chelsea, Sunday 4pm, Sky Sports 1
So much depends on whether or not Diego Costa will be fit for this game. If both him and Loic Remy are out, then Manchester United have a chance. Didier Drogba is not the same player and isn't going to run away from anybody, and if he plays then United can squeeze the game and suffocate Chelsea a little bit.
A lot of people will expect Chelsea to turn up and win, and they can't afford to get complacent because this will be a hard game. I will still just go for Chelsea, but only for a narrow win.
PAUL PREDICTS: 1-2
QPR v Aston Villa, Monday 8pm, Sky Sports 1
If QPR can get anywhere near the standard they played to last Sunday against Liverpool, then they will have a good chance.
I wasn't impressed with their defending and organisation at the end of the game, but the way they went forward - Bobby Zamora in particular - did impress me.
I think they will beat a Villa team which is struggling at the moment. I worry about the way Villa are losing games because they don't look like scoring a goal. If QPR are up for it, then they can win this - and then you worry about Villa because they'll be on that slippery slope.
PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0

Hull manager Steve Bruce has leapt to the defence of under-fire Liverpool new-boy Mario Balotelli saying the Italian striker appears to be ‘a bit of a whipping boy.’
Balotelli has been a frequent target for criticism over the years, whether playing for Manchester City, Inter, AC Milan, his national team and now Liverpool.
The latest volley followed his decision to swap shirts at half-time of Wednesday’s Champions League match at Anfield involving Real Madrid whose defender Pepe approached Balotelli to exchange clothing as they were leaving the pitch.
The 24-year-old duly obliged and was vehemently criticised for his actions, which happened when hosts Liverpool were trailing by three goals.
But Bruce, whose Hull travel to Merseyside to face the Reds on Saturday, believes Balotelli is once again being unfairly condemned for what he did.
Bruce said: "It's not for me to comment on other people's players but from the outside he seems to be the whipping boy at the moment.
"That's always a bit unfair. There's always a scapegoat and he seems to be the one at the minute that the media are on to, and everyone else too.
"I think it's a bit unfair on the lad. There's always one that people pick on. I suppose the changing of the strip (didn't help) but I thought he did okay in that game.
"Lots have been made of the changing of shirts but we've seen it for years haven't we?
"It's maybe not in our DNA in the English leagues but abroad they all do it and they think it's nothing."

Misfiring striker Mario Balotelli is likely to keep his place for the visit of Hull as manager Brendan Rodgers has limited options up front.
The 24-year-old has scored just once in 10 appearances but with Daniel Sturridge still sidelined by a calf problem the Italy international will probably start ahead of Rickie Lambert.
Midfielder Adam Lallana is pushing for a starting place after impressing as a substitute in the midweek defeat to Real Madrid.
Provisional squad: Mignolet, Johnson, Lovren, Skrtel, Moreno, Gerrard, Henderson, Allen, Lallana, Balotelli, Sterling, Jones, Manquillo, Toure, Enrique, Can, Markovic, Lucas, Coutinho, Lambert.
Rodgers has told under-fire striker Balotelli and the rest of his side to accept recent criticism and move on.
While the Italy international has come in for the most negative attention after scoring just once in 10 matches and then swapping shirts with Real Madrid defender Pepe at half-time of a 3-0 loss on Wednesday, the rest of the players are not without blame for a number of poor performances.
"It is something which if you do not score or when the team isn't playing well – whether the criticism is deserved or not – it is a part of the game and you have to accept it," said the Reds boss of the growing discontent with his striker and players in general.
"No-one likes it, however way it comes, but as an individual, team and manager you have to accept it."
While Rodgers continues to defend Balotelli he admits the 24-year-old has plenty of work to do to prove he is good enough to be at the club.
And the Reds boss believes it will be difficult for the forward to achieve if he cannot find a way to adapt his individuality into the team ethos.
"We have an image of a team here, of how we play and work and how we represent the club," he added.
"I like players that are different. I like individual personality in people with hair and coloured boots but as long as they don't see themselves as an individual that is what is important.
"They have to fit into the parameters of the team and if those players over the longer term don't it can be difficult for them to work here.
"But in terms of that he is genuinely working hard and doing his best at Liverpool.
"Longer term we will see how that works out for him but he is trying hard on the training field to improve his opportunities to score goals.
"As long as he is doing his best that is all I can ask as a coach: whether that best is going to be good enough that remains to be seen – but that is the same for every player not just Mario."
Balotelli was disciplined for the shirt incident and Rodgers has now drawn a line under the matter.
"Any action will be kept between ourselves," added the Reds boss.
"We just had a conversation about the culture in this country and in particular Liverpool and that is it, matter closed."

We have stats ahead of every Premier League game this weekend, including details of West Ham's miserly defence and Chelsea's settled line-up.
Manchester City may view this weekend as an opportunity to close the gap at the top of the Premier League, with Manuel Pellegrini's side taking on high-flying West Ham in Saturday's opening game at Upton Park before Chelsea go to Manchester United the following day.
Third-placed Southampton host Stoke in between, with fifth-placed Liverpool hosting Hull, and seventh-placed Arsenal going to Sunderland also on Saturday.
At the other end, bottom-of-the-table QPR host Aston Villa on Monday night, with Burnley hosting Everton, and Newcastle travelling to Tottenham on Sunday.
We take a look at the key Opta statistics ahead of the ninth round of games.
West Ham United v Manchester City
West Ham have taken just one point from their last six Premier League encounters with Manchester City (L5 D1).
Sergio Aguero (108 mins) has the best minutes-per-goal rate of any player in Premier League history (excluding players with fewer than 20 goals).
The Hammers lost four times to City last season (twice in the league and in both legs of the League Cup semi-final).
City secured the league title against West Ham on the final day of last season with a 2-0 win at the Etihad. The Hammers did not muster a single shot on target.
West Ham have won four league games this season. In 2013-14 they didn't reach this tally until January.
City have gone five Premier League games without defeat, the second longest current run in the division.
Sergio Aguero's record of nine goals in his team's opening eight games has never been bettered in Premier League history.
Aguero has scored four away goals in the Premier League this season. He has never scored more than seven on the road in a single campaign.
Diafra Sakho is only the second player in Premier League history (after Mick Quinn) to score in each of his first five starts in the competition.
West Ham have allowed the opposition fewer clear cut chances (7) than any other Premier League team this season.
Liverpool v Hull City
Liverpool have scored 10 goals in three Premier League home games against Hull City.
The Tigers have only won one of their 18 meetings with the Reds in all competitions (D4 L13), with that win coming on home soil last season.
Neither of Liverpool's scorers in this fixture last season (Agger, Suarez) remain at the club.
Steven Gerrard has three goals in two starts against Hull at Anfield.
Hull (along with Chelsea and Everton) are one of only three teams to score in every Premier League game this season.
Mario Balotelli has put more clear-cut chances off target than any other Premier League player this season (3).
After winning 11 Premier League games in a row between February and April, Liverpool have won just five of the subsequent 11 matches.
The Reds have kept just one clean sheet in their last 14 Premier League matches.
Liverpool have conceded exactly one goal in each of their last five Premier League games at Anfield.
Hull's last two away games have ended 2-2. Only two teams in Premier League history have recorded three successive 2-2 draws away from home (Man Utd in 1994 and Newcastle in 2003).
Liverpool have both taken (129) and scored (98 - level with Chelsea) the most penalties in Premier League history.
Southampton v Stoke
Each of the last four meetings between Southampton and Stoke have ended as a draw.
Both teams have scored in the last seven games between the Saints and the Potters.
No team with a striped home shirt has finished in the top four of the Premier League since Newcastle in 2002-03.
Southampton's record of W5 D1 L2 is their best at this stage of a top-flight season since W5 D2 L1 in 1983-84 (the season in which they went onto finish second).
Southampton have made fewer substitutions than any other Premier League side this season (19).
Southampton's style under Ronald Koeman is illustrated by their total of 199 tackles, more than any other side.
Southampton have hit the most shots on target in the Premier League this season (50) while Stoke have allowed the least on their own goal (20).
Southampton have the best penalty record of any regular team in the Premier League (53 taken, 51 scored).
Fraser Forster has the best saves-to-shots rate of any regular goalkeeper in the Premier League this season (75%).
Conversely, Stoke's Asmir Begovic has the lowest saves-to-shots rate of any regular glovesman (53%).
Southampton have kept clean sheets in three of their last four Premier League home games.
Sunderland v Arsenal
Sunderland have scored 16 own goals since the start of the 2010-11 season, more than any other Premier League side.
Arsenal are looking to win four Premier League away games in a row against Sunderland for the first time.
The Black Cats have won just one of their last 21 Premier League games against Arsenal.
Arsenal need two more goals to become the second team (after Man Utd) to score 1500 Premier League goals.
Arsenal's two league wins this season have come via a 90th minute winner against Crystal Palace in their opening game and then a 3-0 stroll at Aston Villa.
Only two Premier League teams have kept a clean sheet after conceding 8+ goals in the preceding match (Arsenal in 2011 after losing 8-2 to Man Utd and Wigan in 2009 after losing 9-1 to Spurs).
Despite conceding eight to Southampton last time out, Sunderland (2) have kept twice as many Premier League clean sheets as Arsenal this season.
If Arsenal fail to win it will be their worst performance after nine games in the Arsene Wenger era (previously 13 in 2011-12).
If Arsenal lose they will have half the number of points they had at this stage last season.

PL pre-match stats: Chelsea most settled

Arsenal are looking to win four Premier League away games in a row against Sunderland for the first time.

Lee Cattermole has been booked in two of his last three Premier League appearances. His overall record is 65 in 212 games (plus seven red cards).

Brendan Rodgers insists that Liverpool do not need a defensive coach despite shipping 19 goals in all competitions this season.
The Reds conceded three more goals on Wednesday night against Real Madrid with two of those goals caused by sloppy defending.
Rodgers has spent around £66m on goalkeeping and defensive options since his arrival at Anfield but none of those players could be described as unqualified successes.
He blames their defensive problems largely on a lack of coaching time this season - ignoring the fact that Liverpool's shambolic defending was a problem last season when they had a week on the training ground between matches.
"A large number of the goals we’ve conceded have been soft. There hasn’t been a corner with a clever move that has beaten us," Rodgers told the Liverpool Echo.
"It’s been a simple ball into the box and we haven’t defended it through either the first contact or by letting people come across us.
"The second and third goals against Real were disappointing. That’s seven, arguably eight, goals we’ve conceded from dead balls so far.
"We need to be more competitive and more aggressive in those situations. They are scrappy goals we’re giving away and you can’t do that at this level.
“It’s not a case of needing to bring in another coach, a defensive coach or anything like that.
"I wouldn’t go down that route. The bottom line is our team is based on balance and at times it’s been poor. There is a collective responsibility to defend better and that’s what we have to do.
"Our problem and the issue we have which we need to find the solution for is our lack of coaching time. Take this week, we played Wednesday night, the players physically recover on Thursday, and that leaves us with only a short period of time on the training field before we’ve got the game on Saturday.
"Over the last 18 months we have seen the developments of this team given coaching time. It’s really not rocket science.
"The introduction of all our new players and having limited coaching time has caused us issues. We need to be better."

Liverpool showed plenty of flaws in their defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday, and a lack of tenacity in midfield was one of them. They need a hatchet man, writes Henry Jackson.
Waking up this morning and remembering Liverpool had been outclassed in every aspect of their game by Real Madrid was not the most positive start to the day. Although many of us predicted a long night for the Reds- a 3-0 defeat against Europe’s best side is not the end of the world- it doesn’t make it much easier to accept.
Of all the numerous flaws on display against Carlo Ancelotti’s European champions, from the continued defensive woes to the increasingly ineffective Mario Balotelli, the lack of a midfield enforcer was hugely evident.
Steven Gerrard, Joe Allen and Jordan Henderson were actually probably three of Liverpool’s more solid players on the night, but none of them are gritty, hard-tackling players who revel in the defensive side of things.
None of them are willing to play ugly, and sometimes you need that. Lucas Leiva showed signs of being this man for the Reds prior to serious injury, but sadly he is well past his best these days.
Although the aforementioned midfield trio are all neat and tidy in possession, and can all offer something going forward, in matches against sides of Madrid’s brilliance you need a hatchet man; someone who loves ruining the oppositions flow.
Javier Mascherano used to do it to devastating effect during his time at Anfield, and he was a key reason why Liverpool were so hard to beat during that part of Rafa Benitez’s reign. He was one of the World Cup’s best players in that role too this summer.
Manchester City have both Fernandinho and Fernando to do that job, and although the likes of Nemanja Matic and Daley Blind are slightly more classy in the way they go about their business, they are also very effective there.
Brendan Rodgers has been seemingly attempting to solve this issue since arriving as manager in the summer of 2012, but as Matt Ladson eludes to for Bleacher Report, he has failed to date. They have never replaced Mascherano, and should have done their utmost to bring him back to Anfield when he was deemed surplus to requirements at Barcelona two years ago.
The one player who could potentially be that enforcer is Emre Can. The 20-year-old has the physical stature, dynamism and defensive ability to shine in a defensive midfield role- he is not dissimilar in style to Matic- but he is still very young and raw. Pinning our hopes on him being a success there immediately would be a little desperate. In time, he could be that man though.
In terms of players across Europe who could come in and do the job there are few that both stand out and are attainable.
Morgan Schneiderlin is one of Southampton’s most important players, and would be a very fine acquisition. Arsenal are keeping an eye on him, and like Liverpool, the France international is exactly what Arsene Wenger’s talented but physically weak midfield lacks.
Yann M’Vila, currently on loan at Inter Milan from Rubin Kazan is another who ticks the boxes. He is feisty in the tackle and reads the game very well. Javi Martinez would be perfect, but he is both out injured and unlikely to be sold by Bayern Munich.
With the January transfer window on the horizon, a midfield enforcer is very much needed. It is one of several issues affecting Rodgers’ struggling Liverpool team right now.
Do you think Liverpool need a midfield enforcer? Let us know in the comments section.
